I'd had the bad idea to travel to Ticino by car on a Friday evening in April. Many people have their vacation before and after Easter and there is always much traffic on the motorway going from north to south and back. I got into a 4km traffic jam that cost me an hour of waiting. However, as I sat in my car, I started to look around and behold the landscape. I had driven the route from Göschenen to the Gotthard tunnel uncountable times yet had never really looked at the beautiful landscape around the motorway. It was a cloudy and cold day, and the mountain tops were hidden by thick clouds. I saw that the clouds were revealing the sight of the mountains for just a moment, and grabbed my camera. Luckily, the tele lens was already on it, and I just managed to take the shot before the clouds moved in again. From a photographic point of view, being stuck in that traffic jam was really worth it!
