I decided to pay a visit to the zoo that day, taking advantage of the good weather. I also visited the new Masoala Rainforest hall, which turned out to be slightly disappointing, as I had not seen any animal apart from a turtle and some birds. I was walking back to the exit when a zoo employee made me notice the little chameleon on a branch. I used the monopod to allow for a longer exposure, opened to f/4 to blur the background and carefully focused on the animal's eye. Fortunately chameleons seem to be patient animals, and I had all the time I wanted to compose the photograph.
