About this Picture

I was about to walk back to the car and go home when I noticed a group of coots who were chasing each other just for fun. The sun was already low and made for some interesting reflections on the water. I decided to stay and see if the coots were flying into that bright area of reflections. Because of the difficult light conditions, I decided not to rely on auto focus and automatic exposure metering. I manually focused on the bright water and manually set the camera exposure. Then I just had to wait. After about 10 minutes I could shoot the picture.
