About this Picture

It had been a great afternoon and I had shot some really nice photographs. I was watching the sunset and noticed the man descending from the hill. I immediately took out the camera from the bag and realized I had no time to mount the tele-zoom. I had to shoot the picture through the 50mm prime lens as quickly as I could, worrying about the picture framing I would have preferred to zoom in closer to the man. When I looked at the photograph on my PC at home I was delighted to see that the picture was even better than it probably would have been at a longer focal length.
